Todd brought a ton of goodies for the Birthday party last night.

Bar-B-Q, Racks of Ribs, Cole Slaw, Potato Salad, buns and a cooler full of Ice cold BEER!

Todd had participated in the Whistle Stop Festival this past weekend, massive rain kept most people away.  Too bad about the rain but at least it meant WNBP got to enjoy all that wonderful food Todd prepared.  Again, Thank you Todd!  Thanks to everyone else who brought goodies:  Larry his homemade Beans, Randy – his Wife’s famous “oh my God” Cake and milk and coffee, Guy – Apple pie and bunt cake, I brought the big cookie.  We had other goodies too but I couldn’t keep up with it all.  We had a good party as usual.

Poker:   I think I may have been the big winner at table 1, our dealer, Richard kept dealing me great hands, I flopped a straight at least 4 times several Full houses and Flushes, I even folded what would have been a straight flush.  I cashed out for $50 and won 2 High Hands.  My favorite hand came thru for me  K2 turned into KKK22  J

Bar-B-Que Party

Sounds like I missed a great party!

Todd brought his amazing Bar-B-Que there was plenty to go with it….. Ribs, Potato Salad, Baked beans and Crown Royal!  J

Guy got the only Quads, after 10, he had quad 4’s, earlier he over bet what would have been Quad 2’s

The Big News is that, in the very next hand, after Guy;s 4’s,  Larry the Lion got a Royal Flush!  DIAMONDS!  Congratulations Larry!  All of this happened after 10 so no HH for either hand.  Larry did win HH 1 with KKKJJ, Randy won the final HH with AAA44

I hope the new lights Brightened up the place a bit, look for new table covers soon.

It looks like we will celebrate Birthdays for May NEXT WEEK, May 8, happy birthday to Joey, Randy and Jamie.

lost focus :)

We had a good crowd last night, more than 20, two full tables.

Special thanks to Randy for dealing for table 1. Randy showed great patience “dealing” with a very rowdy table J

As Big O put it “we lost focus”.  Thank you Randy for putting up with all the commotion, you handled it well. J

We still managed to play cards, we had a lot a good hands….. we had QUADS at least 4 times, some were over bet and didn’t see the light of day.  We also had a STRAIGHT FLUSH !  KING HIGH !  congratulations to Richard for his Straight flush J

Justin and Todd were the big winners at table 2, the both had Big stacks of Green chips!

Five Quads

Last week we had 4 quads, this week we had 5 quads, can’t wait until next week, 6 quads?

Guy won HH 1 early on with 4444

Rick won HH 2 with 10 10 10 10

Big O won HH 3 with KKKK

HH 4 was split between Randy and myself…..

The board was:  8888K  with 4 players still in at the end, it was the winning hand shared by Paul, Richard, Randy and me, Paul and Richard were not in the HH.

Thanks to Big O, Larry and Scotty, they all brought PIZZA!

Quad Quads again

Todd won the very first hand of the night with a FULL HOUSE, then a few minutes later Guy had QUAD 7s at 5:00!  At 5:15 Steven had QUAD 3s!  We ended up with QUAD QUADS, Joey had QUAD 10s and Brad had QUAD 7s.  Thanks to Todd for Pizza, Guy for Bar-BQ, Joey for Pizza and Rick for Oreos.  Thanks to the players at table 1 for letting me win big again… one buy-in and cashed out for $47.

Painting for Poker

The Basement/Poker room looks fantastic!

We had 16 people show up and pitch in to help.

It was a lot of work but we got it all done.  Thank you all very much!

There is no way we could have done this without all the help.

I have ordered some "Roll Tide" TAPE to go on the wall to separate the two colors. I need to go back and do some touch up here and there but other than that its done! The only "issues" we had were arguments about the colors :) there was some talk about Orange and Blue, and Orange and White.  We have decided that we will be fair to our fellow SEC Fans --- plans are in the works to add and Auburn "Block" as well as a Tennessee "Block".

I'll be picking out a "Fathead" or two soon ...
